The Farm With Grandma, Mark, and Paige

We love that we have already gotten to see aunt Paige a couple of times since she came back to UT for school! She is so fun to play with the kids and give them all of her attention!

The kids were feeding the ducks when the geese came to join in on the feast, the geese are not afraid of people but we are afraid of them! They come a little to close for comfort. CC took off out of there and Oli just got a little nervous and unsure what to do.

But then Uncle Mark came and rescued little O from the big birds. Oli wouldn't let him out of his sight after that. Its been fun living in UT and seeing so much of family. Oli has a new favorite person .
Uncle Mark came from Dental school, the kids liked that he looked like a real DR! We are so excited and proud of Mark for going to dental school! Can't wait for you to take care of our teeth!

Grandma came for a quick 24 hour trip for Uncle Mark's white coat ceremony, we were lucky thought because we got to play with her all day! We went and did some shopping and had lunch at Costco and then went to Wheeler farm. It was hot but fun to spend time with her!

Car wash and Dino museum

The kids love playing in the water, even if its to clean the cars or bikes in this case.
Oli was sporting his SG's and working on saying he is Two when you ask him his age, he always says he is four when you ask him so hopefully he will have two down by the time he turns three.
 Silly boy in his PJs

We went to the Dinosaur museum at thanksgiving point with the cousins last week!
So hard to get all the kids to smile and look at the camera at one time.
Oli and Hud listening to the sounds.

Brigham City Temple Open House

Kreg and I celebrated our 6 years married this weekend! We went to dinner and car shopping, We haven't bought a car yet but we will soon so this was a rather exciting date for us! Its fun to think back at all of the milestones we have gone through as a married couple and what the near future holds for us and our family! Next up new (bigger) car, new baby and then a home of our own. Not to mention our oldest daughter goes to elementary school next week! We feel so blessed and happy to be married to each other!
We went with the Reid family to the temple open house. The temple is gorgeous! It was a bit crowded and hot and a long time for the kids to be reverent, but it was a good experience for all of us! We gathered at Sarah and Aaron's after for a fun family dinner!
Cecily is just like me and likes to take home keepsakes from events we go to. She took home her little plastic booties they have you put over your shoes and the pamphlet of the temple. When I was nine I went to the Bountiful Temple open house and I too kept those exact items. I actually still have them in my scrapbook. Cecily said her favorite parts of the temple were the Baptimal Font and the water inside it, the sealing room, and all the Chandeliers. Oli liked the cookie he got at the end!

Everyone really knows Cecily and stuck to her personality in the gifts they gave, lots of princess, and girly toys, rainbow colored gifts and DR toys! She is so happy and loves everything. It was all I could do to get her to go to bed that night and stop playing with her gifts!

Cecily got spoiled by all of her family! Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating with our girl and for all the fun gifts!!

Well Checks

The kids had their well checks last week, CC is now five and is in the 50% for her height!! I was so excited about her growth! She is under the 5th% for weight as usual. She had her eyes and ears checked for kindergarten and they are both working great. She got one shot and her flu mist, she is officially ready for school to start!
Thank you to Rhonda Harris Photography for the beautiful shots of my loves!
Oliver had his 2 yr well check (a little late since we were moving and finding a new dr) He is tiny as always, just under the 5th% for both weight and Height. The DR said yup he's short and skinny. I never really think of him as skinny because he has somewhat wider shoulders and just seems solid to me but I guess the chart shows, and when you look at him compared to other kids his age he is tiny. The DR said you can double a 2 yr old's height and that will be what they are at adult hood, so he said Oli will be about 5'6", he said sometimes its a little low for boys and high for girls so he gave us 5'8" and told me to hope for the best! ha ha We don't mind our shorties! Oliver loved doing his well check with CC, he wanted to do everything she did, so when she got her eyes checked he did his too/ Instead of putting the little paddle on one eye he put it on his nose, but he could see even the tiniest shapes on the chart so we were glad. Then when they checked his ears they put a little device over his ears and told him to clap each time her heard the beep, so he just started clapping over and over really fast. CC thought that was so funny and said "he isn't even listening for a beep". It was so cute! Oliver really loves his big sister and wants to be just like her! He loves the baby in my tummy but thinks everyone who's tummy sticks out even a little has a baby in there, even himself! ha ha I'm glad we still have 6 or so months for him to understand it a little more.
