Cousin time

We went up to Ogden for the weekend to celebrate Ashton's 7th birthday. We had so much fun and love being able to hang with family on a regular basis! All the kids giving Ash a big hug for his birthday! Colten is in the middle of the hug somewhere.

Buddies

Three days a week Oliver gets to spend time with these two cute kids. Their Moms and I rotate turns watching the kids while we go volunteer in the kindergarten class. Oli loves his time with Evie and Antone! They are all super close in age and soo different in personality. It is so fun/funny to watch them interact and speak with each other. I'm happy that Oli has friends his age around us to grow with just like CC did and does. Its fun that our ward is full of kids the same ages as our kids!

Baby Wagner #3 is a

We are soo excited!! Cecily screamed "it's what I've always wanted!" Oliver was in denial and got upset saying "not a girl, it's a baby boy like me", He has now come around and is happy to be having a baby sister. We are so happy and are excited to meet her 2/8/13

Zion National Park

On the way home from our trip we took a detour to the park. We didn't stay long but enjoyed what we saw. Maybe we will go back one day for some camping!
I told Oli to look at me with his eyes because he would face me and look elsewhere, well this is what I got. Maybe I said close your eyes?

We took the shuttle to a few different scenic spots, perfect way to do the park with a preggo and two little kids! Oliver was showing off his Art on the inside of his hands.
The kids loved these little lizards that were everywhere!
Such pretty and different scenery from northern UT.

Aladdin

When I found out we were going to St. George I knew I wanted to take CC to Tuacahn Theater, lucky for her Aladdin was playing and that is one of her favorites right now! She was so excited she took of running right when she got out of the car!
She was so happy to up way past her bedtime and be out with just the girls!

She loved the show so much, as did I. They did a fabulous job and had some really cool affects including real live camels, fireworks, flying magic carpet, disappearing acts and a section of the show in 3D hence the sweet glasses! Cecily was so funny, she would laugh so hard when there was a joke said and her laugh is so contagious all the adults around us would laugh at her laugh. She kept asking why certain parts weren't real magic like in the movie and the genie wasn't real like in the movie. I tried to explain that he is a real person unlike the movie while not crushing any dreams or imagination. After the show she got to see the genie up close and he waved to her, she was so happy. I think it made up for his lack of "realness".
It was such a fun mother-daughter date! We have made it a tradition going to musicals together. We have seen Pinkalicious, Hairspray, Bye bye birdie, and now Aladdin. We are already making plans to go to London and new york for some shows some day!

St. George Part Two

The city has this really fun splash pad right on Main Street and town square, its featured after the natural surroundings aka the red rock. The kids loved it of course. Word to the wise though do not send your kids in white swimwear- the red rock does stain.
This is the epitome of Oliver. He runs full speed EVERYWHERE!
And... Cecily Dances and does gymnastics EVERYWHERE!
This is from the one and only time we saw Kreg, he came to the hotel to Rest for an hour before going back to his festivities. Oli was happy to watch a show with Dad.

St. George part one

We had so much fun on our trip to St. George last week. Kreg's work had a convention down there so the kids and I tagged along and did our own thing and loved every min of it! The first day we dropped Kreg off at a meeting and went to the park to let the kids get their energy out after the car ride. Right by the park was this Red River (picture above) well come to find out it wasn't a natural river but water and debris from the floods the upper parts of st George had. The kids thought it was so crazy to see all of the sports balls and debris in the water. It was pretty deep too.
Cecily thought this handle on the park was like a picture frame so she wanted to take a picture inside it.
We had a lot of fun lounging and swimming at the Hotel, The hotel had a great outdoor pool and kiddie pool that we went to everyday for a couple of hours! We loved having an extended summer in the hot weather! (the pic above is the first night when we tried having the kids sleep together, Oliver would not leave CC alone and she likes complete quiet and space to sleep so she was frustrated with him and neither one would go to sleep, so I brought Oli over in my bed for about 3 min and he was asleep, I then moved him back to CC's bed. the next night we set up the crib and put Oli in there from the start, while he thought it was fun being in a crib again he was asleep much quicker so we stuck with that arrangement the rest of the trip.)
The kids and I met up with my college roommate Krystle and her Little boy! It was so fun to catch up with her and meet Jaxon. I didn't get any pictures of she and I and this is the only one of the kids bummer. We went to lunch and it was HOT so the kids took a little dip in the fountain. Oliver took it to the extreme and was wet from head to toe! He is my wild and silly boy!!
We went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Baumgarten's house for a visit and then Grandpa took us to lunch! It was so fun visiting with them, the kids had a great time showing off their tricks for G&G and Oliver really took a liking to Grandpa. He kept climbing on him and teasing him. I told him to talk loudly so Grandpa could hear so he spent the day yelling to Grandpa!
Later that day they came over to the hotel to watch the kids swim and then that evening we met up with Grandpa for ice cream and a walk around the temple. It really was so great seeing them! I loved talking to Grandpa all about his time as a paratrooper in WWII and his time as a missionary and young newly wed. I love personal history mixed with world history and its even better coming from family!

Last night of Summer= Camping

Kreg took the kids camping (in our backyard) for the last night of summer. I had a cough so I stayed "home". I tried to get a picture of them pretending to be asleep, I didn't succeed with all of them with their eyes shut but, Oliver sure looks cute trying hard to keep his shut. He hasn't been napping lately, and been playing super hard so he fell asleep within two min. We are already planning some camping trips for next summer, little baby and all!

Tree house

We went up to Sarah's for a night and then went to the Treehouse museum the next day. The kids had fun! Cecily and Colten really loved the Dr exhibit. CC had fun playing a Pediatrician.

Us ladies went out for a fun night of dinner and shopping at city creek for Sarah's birthday. I wasn't feeling all that well as usual in the evenings but it was still fun! I hope Sarah had a good birthday! Funny how much Sarah and Carly look like real sisters!

She couldn't wait to line up for her teacher, she weaseled her way up to the front of the line.
My big Kindergartener all ready for big kid school! She has been waiting for this day for a good two years! I am so excited about all the great things she will learn and all of the new friends she will make! None of us were sad or shed a tear when she went into the school. We are all very ready! Oliver was really hyper when we got home, not sure if its because he has me to himself or what but he was happy! I'm sure he'll get bored as the days go on and miss CC more! We love you sweet girl and are so proud of you!
