Best pals

I always knew Oli would LOVE his big sister but, I didnt realize how soon these two would bond. Cecily loves her little guy so much and he adores her. SHe is so good with/to him. SHe loves helping care for him and playing with him. THe other morning I was getting ready, the kids were in the front room, it was super quiet so I yelled to CC and asked her to come her (thinking she was doing something naughty) she said I cant Im sitting by Oli so he doesnt get sad!

Oliver had his first swimming experience today. He LOVED the water, despite the look on his face. I was so suprised because he loathes bathtime. He stayed in the pool for a good 20 min just content as can be. YAY for water babies!

Neighborhood party

We Had a fun Apartment complex party, we enjoyed summer time food and fun! The fire and police departments came to teach us about safety, the kids got to practice spraying the fire hose on the "burning" house. Cecily thought it was so fun of course! She got to go "fishing" for prizes, ballon animals were made for her and she ended the night with her girlfriends swimming in the pool with their clothes on! Talk about living it up being a kid. We are so lucky to have such great friends right in our complex. Cecily has 4 of her best gals right close by!

While at the shoe store I was trying on shoes with socks I brought from home, Cecily wanted to have socks too so I gave her the nylons they have at the store and this is what we got.

She was dead serious about it all. I almost peed my pants laughing so hard.

California

We ended our trip in California for a little over two weeks. We are lucky enough to spend lots of time in CA throughout the year with Kreg's parents that when we go there its pretty much just like going home. We love playing with our family and swimming in Grandpa's pools! Life is so carefree and laid back when we are there that the only reason we leave is so we can be reunited with our Kreg! Thank you to Grandma, Grandpa, Kimi, Criag and Paige for helping me so much with my kids! I was worried the trip would be hard with two kids but it was wayyy easier with all that help! Especially Grandma for taking Oli everyother night!

The Reid family and the inlawsGrandma and Grandpa and the grands and great grandsHappy forever family! I've talked about this event for months now and I was so happy to be there for the big day. My Dad's Parents were re-maried after 35 years of divorce and better than that they were sealed in the temple to their 4 children for time and all eternity! The sealing was so neat and so special, the spirit was extremly strong and the sealer did a very good job. The hugs that i engaged in after the ceremony were ones I will never forget, I felt so much love and happiness in the whole Reid family.

Oliver and Hudson were like little old men chatting with each other, they were smiling and even holding hands with one another. It was so dang cute! I know these two must have been great friends before they came to earth!Ashton couldnt help but be a pirate at the temple. I was fotunate enough to stay with my Grandma at her house the few days before. I have such a close relationship with her and love spending time with her, it had been almost seven years since I lived with her it was so great to be back at her home. We got to go shopping at the outlets with Grandma and Grandpa and some of my immediate family and then to the beach. I got to catch up with many cousins I havent seen for a long time some even longer than 7 years. I got to sleep and my Aunt and Uncles and catch up with their family. I didnt grow up near any of my extended family so when I get the chance to get to know them better I really enjoy it!

My last day in seattle I got to spend some good time with my parents we went to the waterfront in seattle, at some amazing seafood, went shopping and had fun!
It was such a great trip! I just whish Kreg and Cecily could have been there to meet my family.

I was so busy having fun and having conversations I didnt take many pictures which I am sad about later.

Wagner family reunion ~Idaho

We had so much fun in Rexburg staying with Kim and Craig, and then going up to Island Park for the Wagner family reunion! We enjoyed spending time with everyone, going to yellow stone, family dinners and games.

I dont think I can ever say it enough, I am so BLESSED to be apart of the Wagner family. I am so lucky to have so much in common with everyone and I enjoy being with all of them so much! These people are the most kind, loving, happy people I have ever met! I am lucky to have you all as examples in my life.

Reagan's B-day and 4th Activities

My Sister Sarah Does an awesome job party planning, she executed a super cute Ice Cream social party for her little girl Reagan. She even had a soft serve Ice cream machine in the garage. Reagan is a doll and had such a fun time, the kids had a blast playing with cousins. Happy birthday Reagan! Thanks for waiting to celebrate so we could be there for the fun!
We went to a fun 4th of July festival in my Sister's small town, the kids loved the jump houses and blown up obstical course. We also Loved he fireworks! CC thought they were too loud and scary, she found a good spot next to Ashton so she would be safe. Kreg's Mom and Sister joined us as well which was fun to have both families there!

Summer Vacay part 1 ~Utah

We started out our trip in Utah for My niece Reagan's B-day, Family Pictures for my Dad's Campaigne, the 4th of July and Oliver's Blessing. It was so fun being with our families and enjoying some of the festivities we normally miss out on. I will break up the posts by activities so they last longer.

Us Reid girls went and saw Eclipse together! I was so excited I got to go with this time!

Oli and Hudson meeting for the first time. Hudson is exactly a week older than Oliver But, not suprising he is much bigger. It will be so fun watching these two grow up and be friends. I tease and say Hudson will be Oli's body guard.

2 1/2 month stats

MY Smiley little man.

We just got back from an awesome trip to Utah, Idaho, Washington, and California (posts to come). I took Oli to the Dr yesterday for his 2 month well check. His stats are:

Weight: 10 LBS 10 OZ 12%

Height: 22 1/2 in 16%

He is getting so big! Yes he is small but he is a whole pound bigger than CC was at this age so to me he feels really big! He is such a great baby, his first month he was hard (cried alot, never slept) but now he is a Dream! He wakes up happy, eats, smiles and coos and then sleeps again. We are having so much fun with this smiley little guy, he melts my heart and makes us all so happy!

We tried out the bumbo today and he LOVED it! Just chilled in it for the longest time watching his sister be a spaz.
I am so blessed to have such great kids, I have to catch myself when I get impatient with them because they really are such good kids. I am one lucky lady!

Oliver's likes:

~His Dad, Even after being apart for three weeks Oli remembered his Dad and will give him the best smiles/ little laughs!

~ being Swaddled, he is getting bigger and stronger so its harder for the blanket to stay tight but, Oli loves being swaddled more than anything.

~ Drinking 3-4 ounces of Soy Formula

~ SLeeping 5+ hours at night, eating and going back to bed for 3 more hours

~ Loving his bed now that we are home, No more car seat sleeping! YAY

~His sister, you can tell she is already his favorite person. He loves to sit and watch her

~ His Momma of course he loves cuddling with me, and his Aunties and Grandma too, he had alot of great cuddling parteners in Cali!

~His binky is his best friend for now

~Being outside, even when he was brand new when he is fussy you can take him outside and he will calm right down. Just like his Mom and sister he is gonna be a summer person.

DISLIKES:

~Car rides. Cries. Alot!

~Baths, so far not a water baby but we will help him love it

~Being a free bird for too long, DId I mention he likes to be swaddled
