oh How we LOVE summer

We have been super busy this summer with

~A trip with My parents to Navoo and various other Church History sites which of course will get its on post in the near future.

~ Lots and Lots of Swimming at the pool, lakes, and splash pad

~Tons of time with friends and time at the park

~ Enjoying our summer shows like So you think you can dance and the Bachelorette

~ Shopping: with the most recent trip I scored this (in perfect condition) for a measly $20!!! Once again it was at the Salvation Army target (which friends and I are now referring to as the fake Target)

~Packing for our move (we found a cheaper yet larger apartment) and packing for our trip to CA for family time and teaching swim lessons. After that we will be heading to UT to see my sister's new baby girl Coming to this world Tomorrow A.M. via C-section!! I cant wait to have a Niece!

~ and last but not least being Anxious to see our Kreg in a WEEK!!!!

Funny story

My mom sent this to me via email, I thought it was so funny and just had to share!


HOW TO BE A GRACIOUS LADY
Jennifer's wedding day was fast approaching. Nothing could dampen her excitement -- not even her parent's nasty divorce.

Her mother had found the PERFECT dress to wear and would be the best-dressed mother- of-the-bride ever!

A week later, Jennifer was horrified to learn thather father's new Young wife had bought the exact same dress!

Jennifer asked her to exchange it, but she refused. 'Absolutely not, I look like a million bucks in this dress, and I'm Wearing it,' she replied.

Jennifer told her mother who graciously said, 'Never mind sweetheart. I'll get another dress. After all, it's your special day

A few days later, they went shopping and did find another gorgeous dress. When they stopped for lunch, Jennifer asked her mother, 'Aren't you going to return the other dress? You really don't have another occasion where you could wear it.

Her mother just smiled and replied, 'Of course I do, dear. I'm wearing it to the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding.

A day at the LAKE

Yesterday we spent the day at the lake, First CC and I took a run around the lake then our friends came and joined us for a walk around the lake. Then we put our suits on and swam in the lake! It was so nice to be in the sun and to really enjoy some good summer weather! Have we told you how much we LOVE summer!! CC refused to stop playing and eat her lunch and then when we left to go home she was asleep in less that five min! Needless to say she didnt have lunch until she woke up around 4:00 pm. We then went to park for an hour or so had dinner then finished the day off with a great bath and coloring while using the rug as a blakie? Ok CC whatever you say!
